In 2007 Jim retired and moved to his Mountain home in North Carolina an decided to recorded his first CD titled "In The Middle Of A Dream". ever since his days playing in the band Jim's dream was to write, play all the instruments, record and produce a solo CD. This collection of songs include a song written for his Daughter's wedding , Father Daughter dance called "On This Your Wedding Day" also a song written for a friend whos brother died from cancer called "A Circle Of Hope" Jim can be found now playing local restaurants and clubs in the Highland/Franklin area doing a variety of oldies his show is called Acoustical Sounds of the 60's & 70's and has been kept busy over the last 15 years.
